The Gardens

Arguably the most extraordinary element of this entire garden is the ‘Wedding Day Rose’ arbour. In early summer, this arbour can be blanketed in thousands of apricot-coloured rose buds that open to single white, citrus-scented rose flowers. A border of crimson-flowering moss roses and a canopy of maple trees provide a serene chapel-like space for an unforgettable wedding ceremony. 

Our stunning heron fountain provides a stunning backdrop to your ceremony, reception or photoshoot.
Make an entrance along the surrounding river stone pathways, bordered by 60 metres of colourful perennial garden beds before arriving at the adjoining lawns for your celebration.

Host your ceremony or reception in this 2000 square metre forest of oak trees, bordered by blossom-filled trees in spring, and roses throughout summer. You may even trip over a truffle in autumn. Make this space your own with a marquee, or with fairy-lights strung amongst the trees for a magical experience.

Framed by statuesque Italian stone pines, this spacious lawn features the blazing autumnal colour of the maples, a plethora of daffodils and other flowering bulbs in spring, and of course, rose season. A country cottage garden provides a kaleidoscope of flowers, textures and colours as summer progresses. There is plenty of room for a marquee or to configure this space to suit your wedding. 

The Homestead itself provides the stately backdrop for your wedding ceremony, while an immense plane tree provides summer shade. An adjacent secret garden provides the opportunity for a ‘first look’ before the wedding begins.
